xNevzat Onur is Emeritus Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University. He pursued his undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering at the University of California, Davis, USA where he received his B.S. degree in 1974. He then attended the Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, USA completing his M.S. and Ph.D. degree in 1976 and 1980. He taught at different universities in Turkey and he retired from Gazi University in 2011. He has over thirty years' experience in heat transfer research and development. His research interests have mainly been in viscous flow and convection heat transfer. He lives in Ankara, Turkey.
