Douglas McManaman studied Philosophy at St. Jerome's College in Waterloo, and Theology at the University of Montreal. He was a regular columnist for the Canadian Messenger of the Sacred Heart and Catholic Insight Magazine, and he writes regularly for Lifeissues.net and the Catholic Educator's Resource Center. He has been interviewed a number of times on EWTN Radio, The Good Fight with Barbara McGuigan. He is a Permanent Deacon for the Archdiocese of Toronto, the current chaplain of the Toronto chapter of the Catholic Teachers Guild, and he has been teaching Religion and Philosophy to senior high school students for over 25 years. He is currently teaching at Father Michael McGivney Catholic Academy in Markham, Ontario, Canada. He is the past president of the Canadian Fellowship of Catholic Scholars.
