STEPHEN HUTCHINGS is professor of Russian Studies at the University of Manchester, UK, and President of the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies. HENRI NICKELS is a programme manager for Research (Social Science) at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights in Vienna. He works on analysing migration fluxes, combining research and policy work. He has published on media coverage of ethnic minorities in European societies, including Britain and France.
