Natasha Prosperi was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where she lived the first thirty years of her life. She was a distinguished student and athlete. Winner of the Venezuelan Chemistry Olympiad in 1989 and 1990 she went on to study Chemistry at the Sim Bol咩ar University, where she graduated cum laude. She completed a specialization in Reservoir Engineering at the same house of studies in 2002. She worked at PDVSA-Intevep until 2003, when along with eighteen thousand other professionals she was dismissed after participating in the national strike against the regime. She then moved with her husband and daughters to the United States where they added a son to the family. Natasha currently lives near Houston, Texas, with her husband Mariano, their children Patricia, Dora and Mariano Andr駸, and their dog Walter. Natasha enjoys her free time making soaps, playing pickleball, reading, writing and volunteering at an agency that serves abused children.
