Its About Gambling Volume One. And it's about time you got this information. Do you know why some people love to gamble and others don't gamble at all? Where would you put yourself on the risk-taking scale? Have you ever heard about the Casinos in D.C. frequented by members of Congress? Did you get to read about the President who shot a man over a dispute on a horse race wager? What about the President's wife who had regular card games in the White House for money with the local ladies? Any idea why river boat gambling was so dangerous to health and finances? Did you know New Orleans was the first great gambling city in the U.S.? And why was the Wild West so wild? Would it surprise you to know the first professional Black Jack player was a woman? How did gambling become such a huge business and the government its partner? Look around and you can see that the Native Americans are taking their country back one bet at a time. How did all this happen? This series of books is an attempt to "smarten you up about gambling." Your local schools won't help you but give these books a chance. You might hit the jackpot.
