Elizabeth Saghi is the Founder and President of InAlliance Financial Planning, a fee-only advisory firm based in Santa Barbara, California. She has over thirty years of experience in several different areas of the financial services industry. The first half of her career involved working with institutional clients for Merrill Lynch in New York and Bahrain, then with Credit Suisse and BNP-Paribas in London. She returned to the U.S. and joined a team at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco that provided retirement planning and financial literacy seminars to employees of some of the largest firms in the Bay Area, including Apple, Intel and McKesson. Elizabeth also served as the Investor Relations consultant for small, public companies in the San Francisco Bay Area with the Financial Relations Board, now part of the Interpublic Group. After moving to Santa Barbara in 2004, she joined Santa Barbara Bank & Trust as Marketing Manager for their Commercial & Wealth Management Group. In 2013 she acquired her CFP (Certified Financial Planning) certification and founded InAlliance Financial Planning so that she could fulfill her dream of offering objective, fee-only financial advice to clients from all backgrounds, with a particular emphasis on helping women. Elizabeth received her Bachelor's degree from Boston University and her Certificate of Financial Planning from the College of Financial Planning in Denver. She is a member of NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Planners), ACP (Alliance of Comprehensive Planners), and FPA (Financial Planning Association). She lives in Santa Barbara with her family and is very involved with several local non-profit groups, including the Breast Cancer Resource Center and the Pierre Claeyssens Veterans Foundation.
