It's Still Your Song: Book 4 Making The Call - How to evaluate, commit and back yourself when it matters (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798257875960)

BOOK 4 - Making the Call How To Evaluate, Commit and Back Yourself When It Matters

This is a business book about thinking clearly in a world being transformed by AI. The title is a metaphor - but it's still your song that counts.

Something has changed. You know what you have. You have your options. Now you have to decide.

And deciding - when it genuinely matters - is one of the hardest things a person does. The left brain wants more data. The right brain wants more time. Both are frequently wrong about what they need. Most people either decide too slowly, hedge when they should commit, or back down when the path forward is clear but uncomfortable.

This book is for those who want to make better decisions and back them with confidence.

In Making the Call, Jon Borrill draws on a career defined by high-stakes decisions - building businesses across multiple continents, researching Black Swan theory at postgraduate level, and learning through hard experience what separates good judgment from wishful thinking.

This is not a theory of decision making. It is a practical framework for making the call when it matters.

Inside, you'll discover:

• Why good decisions rarely feel certain - and why that's fine
• How to weigh what you know against what you don't
• Why left brain and right brain thinking both have a role - and when each should lead
• How to recognise when you have enough information to act
• How to commit fully and hold your nerve when it counts

At its core, this book introduces a simple but powerful idea:
Good decisions don't come from eliminating uncertainty. They come from learning to evaluate clearly in the presence of it.
The question is not whether you have enough information. The question is whether you have the framework to use what you have.

This is Book 4 of the It's Still Your Song series - a five-part framework designed to help you think clearly, decide well, and stay ahead in a world that keeps changing.

Because no matter how powerful the tools become, one thing hasn't changed:

It's still your song.
