I earned a BA in Psychology and and MBA at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I completed training at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment. I also studied Guidance & Counseling at Oakland University. I am a past member of the American Personnel & Guidance Association, and the Vocational Evaluation & Work Adjustment Association. My work experiences include: Vocational Evaluator, Rehabilitation Counselor, and careers as a State Energy Project Coordinator, Material Handling Business Manager, and Information Systems Manager. He has worked in the private sector, the public sector, been self-employed and had business partners. I recently co-designed and delivered a series of 8 workshops specifically designed for short-term and long-term unemployed, including the never employed, and those seeking their first jobs. Topics covered included Coping & Dealing with Long Term Unemployment, Motivation, Job Loss Grief, Using O*NET, Using My Next Move, Networking for Beginners, Job Keeping Skills, "What Do Employers Want?", Informational Interviewing, Problem Solving, Goal Attainment, "Finding Your Most Rewarding Job", and more. I have completed this book and it's companion, "It's Your Life". I am producing a documentary about the Great Storm of 1913 and any such other projects as catch my interest.
