Thus, the remnants of the Krylios Clan have come back in time to tonight, when Jasper is just a boy, to kill him and end his story before it even starts.

However, the apparent rescue plan is to send Jasper forty years into the past to a younger Fletcher, who has no idea who Jasper is! Though helped by a team of time travelers to stay out of the grips of the mighty Hayalet, Jasper thinks he may be able to solve this mystery on his own.
