Jerry & The Lost Treasure of Aspen Valley (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798995698401)

12-year-old Jerry hunts for a century-old treasure that leads him to a modern-day conspiracy. A real-world adventure with themes of friendship, bravery, growth and resilience.

Jerry Singh is officially the unluckiest kid in Houston.

Framed by bullies and suspended from school, he's shipped off to Aspen Valley, Colorado, to live with his uncle. All Jerry wants is to hide in his Marty the Explorer comics, but the Rocky Mountains have other plans.

When Jerry, his sporty cousin Nora, and tech-whiz Rovin decode a 100-year-old journal, they set off to find a legendary stash of SPANISH GOLD. But the clues lead them to Porterhouse Slab, a mountain that is hiding a deadly modern secret. Stumbling upon an airfield built into a cave, the trio discovers a gold smuggling operation right under the town's nose. Trapped in the pitch-black tunnels with armed men closing in, Jerry has to ask himself: What would Marty do? It's time to put down the comics and become the hero-if he can survive the night.
