Jesus: The Filler of Our Needs The Workbook (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781576880579)

Have you ever wondered, "Why did I do that?"Would you drink from a mud puddle? Would you eat food out of someone's trashcan? Those questions may sound ridiculous right now, but if you were dying from thirst and hunger, you would likely consider doing both of these things. Our physical needs can become so greatthat they drive our thinking.Similarly, soulish needs like identity, love, acceptance, worth, intimacy, security, purpose, the need to be need and forgiveness are just as powerful as the physical needs of hunger and thirst. When these soulish needs go unmet within us, we could find ourselves doing things we never thought we'd do. As it is with unmet physical needs, unmet soulish needs can become so strong that we go to drastic measures to try to satisfy them.Jesus came to redeem and fulfill all of our soulish needs. This workbook can be used as a personal tool to work through as you read Jesus: The Filler of Our Needs. It also can be used as a ministry tool to help people experience greater levels of freedom. As you work your way through this, take your time and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you each step of the way.
