Jesus The Unconventional Saviour: The Christ Who Refuses to be Managed (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781905028238)

What do you do with a Saviour who heals with mud and spit?

Who lets a desperate woman interrupt a miracle in progress - and then calls her Daughter in front of everyone?

Who delays on purpose when someone He loves is dying?

Who stays silent when explanation is demanded, and speaks when silence would have been safer?

Who refuses to come down from the cross?

What do you do with a Jesus who refuses to be managed?

Jesus the Unconventional Saviour is not a book about a different Jesus. It is a book about the biblical one - the One the crowds found astonishing, the disciples found confusing, and the religious leaders found deeply threatening. The One who entered history quietly, lived it unconventionally, and left it in a way no one expected.

Moving through thirty-two devotional reflections, this book lingers with the moments in the Gospels where Jesus defies expectation - where He heals in ways no one anticipated, responds in ways no one predicted, and moves through the world with a restraint, authority, and tenderness that refuses to be reduced to method, category, or comfortable prediction. From the stable in Bethlehem to the ascension from Olivet, each chapter asks the reader to slow down, look again, and sit with a Saviour who is always more than we have yet understood.

There are no study questions here, no quick applications, no pressure to extract a lesson before the page turns. There is simply an invitation - to notice Jesus again, to follow Him as He actually is, and to discover that the life He leads us into is deeper, truer, and more whole than anything we would have chosen for ourselves.

Written by Rev. Dr. Marcia Neveu - minister, theologian, and author of twenty-five books published across five languages - this is a book born in the middle of the night, written entirely in Ghana, and offered to every reader who is still being surprised by the One they thought they already knew.

He is still unconventional. He is still calling.
