Dale Hartvigsen received his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and his M.Ed. degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for certification in public education. He served as a teacher, curriculum supervisor, and principal. He and his wife, Jill Hubbard, are the parents of five children and grandparents of nine and live in West Point, Utah.
