This book is about an immortal hunter who hunts werewolves after his family was murdered and vowed to kill all of them in the world to protect the human race.
I have no idea how this got published….
Nobody could have proofread this stunning work of incomprehensible drivel.
Just the constant run-on sentences and lack of literary concepts make it almost impossible to read without correcting everything in your head. The characters are barely given names or backgrounds. Most just introduced and die shortly afterwards.
The main character ‘Jon Dekker’ is an immortal Lycan slayer from 1399AD, formerly a royal honor guard for King Henry III. Who is now living in a Toronto historical museum Casa Loma and driving a Lamborghini. This guy is such a horrible amalgamation of popular characters that you just can’t associate with him in any way. He has the coolest house, drives the coolest cars, uses the coolest guns and technology. He has no weaknesses and is just a killing machine. His whole persona is tried up with getting vengeance for his dead family. His dialog is all over the place and has a thesaurus vocabulary when speaking about Lycans. They are dogs, pups,, howling bastards and dozens of other werewolf slurs.
His character development went nowhere, he is just the savage, ruthless immortal Lycan Hunter.
The story never developed more than our Super Cool Hunter killing werewolves with a Super Cool arsenal of weapons that the author had no idea how they work but the names sounded cool.
I honestly have to say that this is the worst book I have ever tried to read. How this ever got published amazes me. I can only picture some teenage reject sitting in a dark basement just typing this up between Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto gaming sessions.
