I am an author who has seen her challenges with health and doctors, and turned those challenges into ways to dramatically improve my health. Challenges taught me how to better take care of myself and how to use nature and food to heal myself. I realized through the process that many of my aunts and uncles lived for quite a long time. I thought back on what they ate most of the time. I asked them what they like to eat and why they felt they have lived so long. I found out again, it came down to good simple healthy eating & living. My Grandmother on my father's side lived to 92 (if I remember correctly, I was only 3 when she passed) and her daughter (my aunt, my father's sister) lived to 104!! I wanted to tell their stories about how they helped me use good healthy food to repair my health. Now my friends have asked me about what I eat, what Juices I make, and many other things related to my lifestyle. With their encouragement I decided to write about my experiences, and that is how I became an author. I really enjoy the beach, spending time with my family, cooking with my family, spending time in the kitchen, organizing family parties, and reading a good book.
