If you are new to kakuro solving, here are the rules: place numbers into each run of white squares so that the numbers contained in the squares sum to the value given at the start or end of that run of squares. In this way, the puzzles are a little like number crosswords. You must use numbers from 1-9 only, and are not allowed to repeat a number within a run of squares. Thus, if required to make 4 from two squares, the squares must contain 3 and 1 in some order, as 2 and 2 would not be allowed as that repeats a number.
