Jump Gate II: Teleporter (The Jump Gate Series Book 2) (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798295882234)

Jump Gate II: Teleporter continues the thrilling, high-intensity sci-fi saga that began with Jump Gate I: Time Chair. This time, the secrets of time travel evolve into something even more powerful and far more dangerous. Lem Parker, a former Navy strategist with a sharp analytical mind, joins Timely-Drones expecting nothing more than a simple entry-level job. But when he uncovers a massive shipping backlog and effortlessly eliminates months of delays, it becomes clear he's no ordinary hire. His presence sets off a chain reaction through the organization catching the eye of Kimberly Solomon, daughter of the company's founders, and stirring interest from the top levels of the research institute. While helping Kimberly search the company's hidden basement storage, Lem discovers an abandoned relic: the original time-deck a mysterious piece of technology older than the drones and far more sophisticated. As they explore its mechanics, Lem and Kim arrive at a shocking realization: The device isn't just for time travel. It's a functional teleporter. With Chief Engineer Ted and the leadership team, they unravel a scientific breakthrough capable of bending space itself offering transport across staggering distances, potentially light-years away. But with groundbreaking power comes profound danger. Government agencies, military strategists, and unknown enemies may all have interest in the device... and not all intentions are good. As Lem rises through the ranks and deeper into the company's hidden operations, he becomes entangled in threats, secrets, and high-stakes decisions about the future of human travel, warfare, and survival. Jump Gate II: Teleporter expands the universe with richer science, deeper character development, and escalating tension a perfect continuation for fans of time-travel thrillers, hard sci-fi, and character-driven adventure stories.
