Fiona Leonard is an Australian writer and theatre-maker whose multi-continent life has infused her storytelling with global voices and feminist insight. Born in Australia, she spent years abroad--living in seven countries across four continents--before settling in Düsseldorf, Germany. Her novel The Chicken Thief was published by Penguin Random House in 2014, and since 2014 she has had her plays performed internationally in two languages. She also created the advocacy project Women Adjacent, and often explores how women have been written out of history while crafting new narratives that centre female storytellers. Prior to her career in the arts, she worked as a diplomat, giving her a unique vantage on culture, identity, and societal norms. Her style marries sharp wit, theatrical pacing, global awareness and a persistent challenge to patriarchal structures.
Elimu Nelson is a U.S.-born actor, writer-coach and creative professional whose name ("Elimu" means "knowledge" in Swahili) reflects his lifelong commitment to storytelling and personal growth. He gained early recognition for his work in film and television--appearing in projects such as Love Don't Cost a Thing, Dance Flick, and series like The Shield--and later expanded into writing, coaching aspiring artists and actors, and developing creative content. Nelson's style is rooted in authenticity, cultural nuance, and dynamic performance; his writing reflects a blend of dramatic tension, personal transformation, and multicultural perspectives, making his voice resonant in both front-of-camera and behind-the-scenes creative roles. Thanks for subscribing!
