A mysterious, wounded stranger enters the camp and Avira is forced to care for him. The wounded man, Terran, and Avira are sent to assist a group of informants in Agrestia. Along the journey, Terran and Avira's pasts begin to reveal themselves and both are not who they claim to be. As the two main character's relationship becomes romantically complicated, magical occurrences pop up around Terran and Avira. At the end, myths morph into realities, and Avira is forced to reveal her powers to those around her, even if it means betraying Terran and leaving Vi behind.
