I was a lawyer until I quit. Six years in the practice taught me two very important things -- 1) I love to write (while it was motions, briefs, and arguments then, I still knew I had uncovered my passion in the written word), but 2) I don't like to do it in an office. Something told me I needed to get away, to travel, to sail, to live a different day every day and write about all of it. I now write full-time and spend the majority of my days cruising our 35-foot Niagara sailboat around Florida's west coast, the ongoing adventures of which I chronicle on my sailing blog, www.havewindwilltravel.com, and sailing books available on Amazon.
