Kidnap on the Mekong (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798235226043)

Disgraced undercover cop Declan Finney is handed one last shot at redemption: rescue Jane Gordon, the kidnapped daughter of the Governor of New South Wales, from Burmese drug traffickers in the infamous Golden Triangle.

Haunted by a shattered past, alcoholism, a broken family, and self-doubt, Finney embarks on a dangerous mission that takes him from Sydney's streets into the corrupt underworld of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Mae Sai. Navigating betrayal among his own colleagues, ruthless drug traffickers, and a maze of expats and law enforcement, Finney is pushed to his limits.

Along the way, he encounters the enigmatic Pip Tan, a journalist whose motives are as unclear as the mission's outcome. As Finney digs deeper, it becomes clear that no one can be trusted, and every choice comes with a deadly consequence.
