Kidnapping, Prison and Love: A gay prison thriller of forbidden love, featuring a secret identity, kidnapping, corruption and extreme slow-burn tensio (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798189731464)

Mathieu Delmas is not in prison by mistake. A former elite police officer, he destroyed evidence to protect a source and resorted to violence when he stopped trusting due process. Now he is serving his sentence, his son questions every promise he makes, and a criminal network has just kidnapped a young translator. The PNACO offers him one chance: enter a high-security French prison under the name Luc Vasseur and trace the route leading to the hostage.

At Val-de-Sarthe, orders pass through double gates, falsified records and officials on the take. Mathieu must deceive Rocca's men without revealing who he used to be. He must also lie to Julien Morel, the probation and rehabilitation officer assigned to his case, who spots a file that is far too clean and refuses to treat him as a mere pawn in the operation. The closer Julien comes to the truth, the greater the danger to the mission. The harder Mathieu pushes him away, the more impossible it becomes to deny what he wants.

When the network proves that it knows his son's routine, Mathieu will have to choose between the control that has always held him together and the trust that could destroy everything. Because saving the hostage may require him to tell the truth to the one man he has no right to love.

WHAT AWAITS YOU WITHIN THESE PAGES?

• A forbidden gay romance: a prisoner and the probation and rehabilitation officer responsible for his case, confronting a power imbalance that desire cannot erase.
• A prison infiltration: Mathieu assumes a false identity built upon a conviction that is entirely real.
• A high-security French prison: cameras, double gates and administrative movements weaponised against those trapped inside.
• A race-against-time kidnapping: Clément does not wait passively; he watches, remembers and constructs his own escape route.
• An extreme slow burn: intelligence, dry humour, indirect acts of care and tension forced to wait before it can become touch.
• Grief and fractured fatherhood: loving again does not replace Théo or automatically bring Noé back.
• Consequences without easy absolution: love does not erase crimes, betrayals, prison sentences or the harm already done.
