During the COVID pandemic, he began studying the book of Daniel and authored the book "Daniel 11: A Message for God's End-time People." He continued his studies, delving into the narratives and timeline of Daniel and how the biblical text and historical records can be reconciled. Louden is the program manager for a Community Emergency Response Team, a member of the VFW, spends time working with special needs students, and has a knack for solving difficult jigsaw puzzles. He and his wife live in Bradyville, Tennessee, where he is an elder in his local church.
