La Poétique [The Part Dealing With Poetry of Cours D'esthétique, the Editor's Tr. of Vorlesungen Über Die Aesthetik] Précédée D'une Préface, Et Suivie (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781142032920)

"La Poétique," translated from Hegel's "Vorlesungen über die Aesthetik," offers a profound exploration of poetry's essence and its place within the broader scope of aesthetics. This edition, enriched by a preface and a critical examination of Schiller's views on poetry, delves into various subjects related to the art form. Hegel's insights provide invaluable perspectives on the nature of poetry, its creation, and its reception. This work remains a cornerstone for anyone seeking to understand the philosophical underpinnings of poetic expression. It will interest scholars of German philosophy, literary theory, and the history of aesthetics.
