Someone handed eight year old poetik a small book full of poems and she never looked back. poetik, whose name is Karyn Dyer is a no-time best-selling author yet. Hailing from the wonderful world of Brooklyn, poetik has spent most of her life writing, whether it may be poems, stories, essays, journal articles, or long Facebook statuses. She went on to attend SUNY Old Westbury in Long Island, NY and graduated with her bachelor's degree in English and her master's degree in higher education. poetik has performed in spaces in Troy, Albany, and in New York City.
