In this book, I wish to help readers understand the deeper issues at play so that they can make more informed decisions in their area of competence. We look at the validity of the claim that all transgendered individuals are "born into the body of the wrong sex." I reflect on whether politicians have the authority to stop citizens talking about the validity of a new, unproven theory. I ask what happens to any nation when its new definitions of male and female are now unprovable-and whether these definitions can even be used for future legislation. And we look to see if trans rights have any firm philosophical foundation.

In the end, we find that every trans law and policy creates a situation whereby far more people are harmed than helped. Social decay is inevitable. Higher taxes will lead to even more families living on the poverty line. We reflect on the mental process that causes social representatives to harm their nation under the banner of compassion.
