Father Coughlin has also taught at St. Bonaventure University, St. Joseph's Seminary (Dunwoodie), St. John's University Law School, and the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome). His book Canon Law: A Comparative Study with Anglo-American Legal Theory was published by Oxford University Press in 2011.
