At the back of this book you will see "Other Publications by This Author" one of which is entitled, "Easy Lessons for Learner Drivers". The content is exactly the same, but it is a larger sized edition which some pupils might prefer for home study. Many driving instructors have their own version of this book, thus ensuring that you are both following the same structured lessons.

JIM DUGGAN spent many years in the driver training business, both as a first class driving instructor and latterly involved in the training of instructors. With a pass rate of 78% when the general pass rate was only 32% he has a proven track record which served his pupils well. Having driven well over an estimated two million miles he has a wealth of knowledge to pass on to learner drivers. As he has now retired from the practical side of the business he wants to pass on all that experience to anyone who may benefit from it. Due to the increased emphasis on driver safety reflected in the current DVSA driving test pupils are finding it ever more difficult to pass. He identified the solution as being the need for easy to follow lesson plans set out in a logical and progressive order with the emphasis on visual images rather than written texts; the latter only being there to support the visuals. Suitable material to fit his vision of what was required did not seem to be available in the bookshops, so he set about rectifying the problem himself by producing this Learner Drivers Handbook. Pupils are able to follow the lessons by flipping to each illustration in a controlled and logical order.
