"The Man in the Mountain" is a whimsical tale of a young girl's desire to bring her late grandfather's ashes to the one place he talked about often but never ventured to in his life: Mount Yahweh, or as the locals call it, MIM. Mavis's Pa-Pop would regale her with stories of mythical beings and adventures he had embarked on in his younger days. To pay homage to her Pa-Pop, Mavis plans to go to the mountain, soon discovering these mythical creatures exist and a generational curse plagues the Holt lineage since the start of the town of Spring Crest.
