BAILEE

Bailee Maxwell is at the top of her career. The youngest and only female detective in the Louisville Police Department, she put a significant dent in gang activity and took down a murderer while on an undercover assignment. What should have been a defining moment morphed into a potential career ender. When a threat is made on her life, she decides a trip out of down is in order. So off to Fire Creek, Alabama, she goes to stay with her free-spirited grandmother. This is a time to reset, but meeting her Gran's next-door neighbor uproots her plans - in the sexiest way.

EASTON

Easton Hargrove ran from the problems of life the way a rabbit runs from danger. Until he found a permanent family with his mentor and brothers, he battled against being hurt by being the first to leave. On the surface, he's a charming bartender with an aversion to commitment. Deep down, he's a man longing for roots and the family he hoped to have as a young boy. While he waits for his heart's desire, he's open for a dalliance with his neighbor's hot granddaughter, and breaking through Bailee's tough facade becomes a challenge he can't resist.

There are people who want Bailee dead and plan to make her suffer in the process. When the threat finds its way to Fire Creek, Bailee wants to run to protect those she cares about, but Easton wants her to stay. Because if anyone can help her slay the danger, it's the Legends of Fire Creek. When his attempt to be Bailee's hero puts him in the path of an assassin, it's up to Bailee and the rest of the Legends to find a way to end the threat before they lose one of their own.

They were once wayward boys until they were taken under the wing of the original Legend. They grew under his tutelage to become vigilantes who look after those who aren't able to help themselves. They are loners thrown together in an unconventional family, living with secrets that shaped them into the men they've become. It's the life they've chosen - until they meet the women who show them what it means to be loved and accepted for who they are.
