Angie Marino, a native of Elkhart, Indiana, received her BS in Elementary Education at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. She has loved rhyme for as long as she can remember. The first book she remembers enjoying was Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss. At a very young age she began writing her own rhymes and has a collection of poems she has written for friends and family members. She also loves learning which is why she had so much fun writing LEMURS!. She didn't know much about lemurs when she first began this book. Angie currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC where she teaches and enjoys her family.
