However, it was that constant adaptation that molded him into the person he is today. The son of two committed parents who were high school dropouts themselves, yet driven by honesty, integrity and hard work, Billy learned the values they instilled in him and looked at the world as opportunities waiting to happen. After spending nearly 30 years working in retail grocery, the insurance industry, and entrepreneurship, he walked away and returned to college to become an educator. Although he had been successful in every part of his working life, he felt like there was a constant nagging question, "Was he making a difference?" As a seasoned educator, he now brings a unique energy and real world application to his classroom.
