Lew the Lion: A Biography of Survival, Resilience and Success (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798695620665)

All was lost. He had lived through the chaos of a world war, survived the aftermath, been hungry, destitute with few possessions, could see few prospects for the future and had nearly lost hope in humanity. He did not even have a birth certificate or a piece of paper that proved he was a living, breathing human being. And then being thrown a lifeline, he was given the chance to start again with the choice of resettlement in Australia or Canada. He chose Australia because he had lived in a bitter cold climate nearly his whole life where snow was on the ground for more than half the year. Little did he know that his battles were just beginning. This was his life, a man's life- joy and happiness interspersed with periods of sheer terror and rage. And this is a love story. A man's struggle to live a prosperous, successful life despite many setbacks, hurdles and adversities that he strived to overcome.Discrimination and bigotry is not always based on race- more often it is based on culture and ethnicity.
