I was born in Long Beach, California in 1948. After moving to North Long Beach, I met my future wife, I was 13 years old, we lived next door to each other. I enlisted into the Army then a month later proposed to and married Janet (after 3 mo. engagement) who has been my supporter and my anchor for 49years. My first day of basic traning was my 19th birthday (happy birthday to me sung quietly to myself). After basic I went to Ft. Lenordwood, MO then home for two weeks and then... off to Vietnam! After fourty five years of suffering with PTSD I started group and individual therapy and started writing. I have never taken a writing class, so, you may discover mistakes with my punctuation, spelling and whatever else I should have done. I just ask that you smile at my mistakes and know my intentions and emotions are to give an insite to others.
