Tammy Kelly Feimer, has been an educator for 21 years. On February 27, 2011 her whole world was changed forever. Mark Allen McGowan, her 24 year old son, took his own life by committing suicide. As a result of this tragic event, Tammy felt she wanted to do something to help others who may have experienced the same thing as she and her family experienced. She felt it in her heart to write a book, "Life in the Slow Lane," about her experiences as a mother who has lost a child to suicide.
