Dr. Reijonen lives in the Southwest Michigan area with her husband and their three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, writing and journaling, reading and studying, and exercise exercising, She is an active member and volunteer in her church, including the women's, worship arts, small group, and response ministries. In her professional life, Dr. Reijonen counsels with a Christian counseling center and teaches college courses as a psychologist. Dr. Reijonen has also been involved in advocacy for neuromuscular diseases and Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT). In 2011, Dr. Reijonen was honored to receive the Muscular Diseases Association Robert Ross Personal Achievement Award for Michigan.
