Lisa Jude was born in Troy, N.Y. and attended the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY, where she studied Graphic Design and Elementary Education. She discovered her passion for books at an early age. An avid reader and writer, it wasn't until recently that she would pursue being published. Luckily for Lisa Jude, her first cousin, Marc Tedesco, is an amazing artist living and working in New York City. The two collaborated on Little Joey's Sunshine Adventure together. The grandfather character in the book is based on their own grandfather, Wallace, with whom they and their entire family adore and miss. Besides being a published author, Lisa Jude loves being a mom to her sweet daughter, Gabriella, and wife to her amazing husband, Rich. They reside in Troy, NY along with their two dogs, Roo-Roo and Ben. When Lisa Jude isn't writing children's books, she enjoys painting, antiquing, cinema, traveling to the ocean, and making memories with her family and friends.
