About the Author

Ronnessa Joyce is a freelance journalist, volunteer for the 988 Crisis Hotline, and mother to four special fur babies-Daddyo, Dolly, Dixie, and Daisy. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication and a master's in psychology from the University of Arizona Global Campus. After graduation, she specialized in crisis intervention counseling and received her certificate from the American Institute of Health Care Professionals a short time later.
