Kate Rietema and her husband have five daughters and live in West Michigan where they run Triponds Family Camp Resort. Kate has led Bible studies and prayer groups for organizations including Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry, Bible Study Fellowship, and Moms in Prayer International. Kate is also a registered nurse, community educator, and speaker, and her children's books are inspired by her many years as a foster and adoptive mother. She is a frequent contributor to Highlights Magazine, Clubhouse, Guideposts, and more.
Bruno Brogna was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire in 1968. After a brief period of office work, he re-trained and got a job at Hallmark as a designer and illustrator where he stayed for 20 years. Since going freelance he has illustrated two books, one for Usbourne in the UK and one for Red Comet Press in Brooklyn. He has used many techniques over the years but is currently trying to develop his signature style, a combination of traditional and digital watercolor. He now lives "just across the border" in Burnley, Lancashire.
