My life began on a dairy farm near Livingston, Wisconsin. I grew up with a vague interest in writing-always wanted to work for a magazine as an editor for some odd reason. After college, I taught high school English, coached wrestling and football. Then lo and behold my vague desire became reality when I joined Reiman Publications, in Greendale, Wisconsin. I worked at editing Country magazine, wrote travel brochures and traveled the world, leading groups of people to wonderful places. During that time my wife and I raised two children, and we now have five grandchildren. I entered seminary at age 50, and promptly lost my vision to the point I'm legally blind. In 2005 I began pastoring a small church in Madison, Wisconsin. Then our Lord directed me to a 4-year ministry at First Reformed Church in Waupun, Wisconsin. As of this writing in 2015, I have founded and head the nonprofit One With God, Inc in Arlington, Tennessee. We exist to raise money to feed orphans and teach pastors in Eastern Africa. I hope these writings from Scripture and my teachings will help you know God intimately. He has created you for a purpose. Go and discover your marvelous Lord and listen to him speak to you.
