She was recognized by the City of Tampa in 1996, as a "Woman of Zion" and again in February 2007, as the recipient of the "2007 Employee Black History Award." She has been appointed to preach the gospel and evangelize since the year of 1990. Through her philanthropic services, the WOW Ministries, Inc. (Women of Wisdom) was birthed. She has been recently nominated by On Que Magazine as the 2013 "Female Pastor of the Year for the City of Tampa". Pastor McKinney loves people and has a passion for Christ to see lives changed through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
