Emma Franieczek worked as cabin crew for two and a half years. Her first collection of short stories Living the Dream is a fictionalised telling of the world of cabin crew and was inspired by the experiences she had and the eclectic mix of people she met. She studied Creative Writing at London South Bank University and is also interested in dance, circus, cabaret and theatre. She currently lives in The Cotswolds.
