After a fulfilling career as a college professor, Lee Abbott began a second career as a consultant in Human Resource Management. Abbott Consulting occupied the author for several years, during which he wrote and published the LITTLE GREEN BOOK series of books for his clients. When his parent's health began to fail, he became responsible for their care and he used those experiences as the basis for LIVING WITH DYING. His experiences as a caregiver and his discussions with other caregivers indicated to him the need for a readable, concise examination of the demands faced by caregivers along with perspectives and solutions which should help the reader cope better with the caregiving role. The author hopes that LIVING WITH DYING, will provide his readers with a guide to coping with many of the tasks they will face as they care for a loved one at the end of life. Lee Abbott is a graduate of St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY and the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut. He is the proud father of three children and grandfather of two beautiful grandchildren.
