About the Author 2014 A Native of Southern California, Clytie Koehler is a retired attorney. She currently lives in San Diego County with two teenaged granddaughters and a cat. She spent a significant part of her legal career as a legal aid attorney which both fulfilled a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others and provided her, along with her own early life experiences, with a great deal of inspiration for her first novel, Guava Gravy.
