xGert H. Mueller was born in Dresden, Germany in 1922. He taught sociology at American University in Washington D.C. from 1973 until his retirement in 1991. His work in analytical sociological theory was the fruit of over 50 years of scholarly research in the fields of religion, philosophy, history, and sociology.
