Harold Garde is a father of four, a grandfather to five and a great grandfather to one. He is a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn in 1923. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and his masters degree in Fine Arts and Education from Columbia University. Shortly after years of teaching on Long Island he retired and left New York. He now splits his time between his residences in Maine and Florida. His paintings and fine art prints are in many collections, and have been widely exhibited in museums and galleries.
