Love, Pain, & Glory: The Last Tears (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798562219435)

Leo James is back with his second installment of the poetic gem, Love, Pain & Glory. It's subtitle, The Last Tears, does its best to prepare readers for the rollercoaster ahead. Within this collection, one thing is evident: James thoroughly understands the concept of vulnerability and seeks impressively creative measures to honor it. He acknowledges the work of his admirable predecessors while using inspiration to explore the art of poetry meets human sexuality. He takes time to note painful experiences, both past and present, while somehow evoking even-temperament and profound relatability. He considers both systematic and overt racism which plagues our society even this day, all the while ensuring he effectively executes what he does best-motivate his readers to accept challenges, be better and move forward despite the overwhelming emotions which trail closely behind the world of Love, the existence of pain and the consequence of overcoming both: finding Glory. With a challenging year nearly behind us, this book may be the salvation you've been looking for.
