Loving you is easy - Loving me is hard!: Developing healthy self-esteem and confidence (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781907146206)

Have you ever had the kind of experience where something happened that left you feeling less good about yourself, and you've then had trouble shaking off those negative critical thoughts? Do you have moments when you feel you don't measure up to your own expectations - let alone those of other people? Are you longing to deepen your relationship with God but have a secret suspicion that you aren't really 'good enough' to register on His radar? Or it may simply be that you wish you had more confidence - for relationships, jobs, giving a best man's speech or just to speak up! If the answer to any of the above is 'Yes' then this book is for you! It has been written to help you understand what sabotages confidence and self-esteem and gives simple models that not only explain what is going on, but also provide the solutions to developing healthy and rock solid authentic confidence. Practical activities and reflections embed what you are learning so that change stays with you...for life. The book also looks at how you can enter into 'garden time' with God and learn to be aware of His presence in whatever your day brings.
