The main areas of her research are sustainable energy development, sustainability assessment, multi-criteria decision-making, and energy policy. She is co-author of two monographs and more than 40 scientific articles.

Prof. Dr. Tomas Balezentis is a full professor at Vilnius University and Leading Researcher at Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences, Institute of Economics and Rural Development. He holds PhD degrees from Vilnius University and the University of Copenhagen. He has received the Lithuanian National Scientific Prize. His research focuses on efficiency and productivity analysis, agricultural economics, and energy economics. He has published in such outlets as Energy Economics, Energy Policy, China Economic Review, and the European Journal of Operational Research among others.
