Lusio: Ancient Reunion - Book Two (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798997131548)

His dreams died in the massacre. Until his forebears gave his hopes new life.

1683. Rocky Mountain foothills. Lusio only wants to return home. Escaping from brutal kidnappers, the determined man undertakes an arduous journey back to his beloved Pueblo tribe, only to find the village reduced to a mass grave. Devastated by the loss and fearing for the lives of his children, the savvy wilderness guide receives a vision and sets off in search of survivors.

Led by a chickadee and a wolf pup, Lusio battles despair and physical injury as he pursues the ragtag remnants of his once-flourishing clan. But with renegade soldiers prowling the treacherous terrain and winter well on its way, he fears his chances of tracking them down are rapidly slipping away.

Will this frantic father locate his missing family, or will a sinkhole and a snakebite end the journey for all of them?

Lusio is the engaging second book in the Ancient Reunion historical fantasy fiction series. If you like native voices, mythic tales, magical realism and healing in the midst of heartache, then you'll love Sue Paterson's early American adventure.
